Planar sifter
The planar sifter – also known in milling as a plansifter – classifies grain products and granules on long, multi-layer decks. The quiet planar motion cuts sharply without stressing the product unnecessarily.
Operating principle
The screen box combines horizontal reciprocating travel with circular oscillation. Material glides over long decks and is classified in several layers. Low vibration energy is kind to buildings and neighbouring equipment; mesh change stays simple. For coarse and medium cuts at high throughput, the same machine family can be arranged with a linear shake. The standard duty remains the planar sifter with gentle motion for precise classification.
